In this Stake guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about the Paris Masters, what to expect, and some tips for betting on tennis at Stake Sportsbook.
Introduction to the ATP Paris Masters Betting
The curtain is set to come down on another year in the tennis calendar, with the Paris Masters the final ATP 1000 event before the Nitto ATP Finals. Players will be looking to add to their ATP rankings points with a good performance in the competition to qualify for the Finals in November.
The ATP 1000 events are the third-most-prestigious on the ATP Tour, behind the Grand Slam tournaments, Wimbledon, the French Open, the US Open, and the Australian Open, with 1000 points on the table for the winner of the nine events.
When is the ATP Paris Masters Men's Singles 2025?
The Rolex Paris Masters will kick off on October 25, with qualifying making up the first weekend’s action. It will run all the way until November 2, when the final will be played.
History of the ATP Paris Masters Tournament
The Paris Masters has existed in some form or another since 1969, when Tom Okker beat Butch Buchholz in the very first final. It became part of the Grand Prix circuit until included as an ATP Tour Masters 1000 event from 1990 onwards.
Novak Djokovic is far and away the most successful player in its history, winning seven titles and appearing in a total of nine finals, including winning three in a row. To put it into perspective, greats like Roger Federer and Andy Murray have won only one title, and Rafael Nadal never won one.
Who is Playing in the ATP Paris Masters Men's Singles 2025?
As this is an ATP 1000 event, all players looking to qualify for the ATP Finals will be making an appearance in Paris. The points on offer could carry those yet to qualify into the competition. We’ve selected our Paris Masters top picks:
Carlos Alcaraz
Alcaraz is the current world number one and will look to cement his place by claiming a maiden Paris Masters win. Given that he won at Roland Garros in the French Open, he will be confident he can do it again in the City of Love.
Jannik Sinner
Young Italian Sinner is the only player on Carlos Alcaraz’s level at this point in time. The two shared the four Grand Slams, with Jannik claiming Wimbledon and the Australian Open. He won the ATP China Open but struggled in Shanghai at the Masters, so a first-ever Paris Masters would be just the tonic for a player at the peak of the sport.
Alexander Zverev
The German has had a nightmare year. Zverev’s loss percentage is more than 30% in 2025, and was compounded by a dismal showing in the Round of 32 in the Shanghai Masters. He is still ranked third in the world, though, and he will see this as an opportunity to retain his Paris Masters title and end the year on a high.
