2025 US Open Predictions & Tennis Picks
US Open 2025 Player Picks
Men’s Singles
Jannick Sinner - Sinner is the current top-seeded player based on his performances over the ATP season, and he’s also widely considered the best hard-court player. As a result, he’s the current betting favourite and will be tough for any player to beat. In 2025, he’s already won the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and won the US Open in 2024.
Carlos Alcaraz - Alcaraz is second-favourite as the number 2-seeded player in ATP tennis. He last won the US Open in 2022, but this year, he’s had the most success on clay, winning the ATP Masters 1000 Rome and Monte-Carlo, as well as the French Open. He was beaten by Sinner in the Wimbledon final, and the two have won the past 7 Grand Slam titles between them.
Novak Djokovic - Djokovic may be at the end of his career, but he remains one of the best players in the world. He has won 100 titles over his career, although his last Grand Slam title was in 2023 when he won the US Open. This year, he lost in the semi-finals of all 3 Grand Slams, including 2 losses against Sinner.
Women’s Singles
Aryana Sabalenka - So far, the number-one WTA ranked player is yet to win a Grand Slam tournament in 2025. However, Sabalenka did win the US Open in 2024 and reached the final in 2023. This year, she was narrowly beaten in the finals of the Australian Open and Roland Garros. At the US Open, Sabalenka’s win/loss record is 28/6.
Iga Świątek - The current second-favourite according to the latest betting odds is Świątek. She won the US Open in 2022 and reached the quarterfinals last year. This year, she recently won at Wimbledon and is ranked 3rd in the world. Her overall win/loss record at the US Open is 20/5.
Coco Gauff - Gauff won the US Open in 2023 but failed to pass the round of 16 last year. This year, she won Roland Garros but struggled at Wimbledon. Still, she’s the 2nd seeded WTA player and has a great chance of winning another Grand Slam. She has a total win/loss record of 17/5 at the US Open.
Who Will Win The US Open 2025?
Men’s Singles
Jannick Sinner is currently the top pick for the ATP men’s singles at the US Open. He’s already won 2 grand slam tournaments this year, and excels on hard-courts; his opponents will need to be at the top of their game to beat him.
Women’s Singles
The current favourite for the WTA women’s singles at the US Open is Aryana Sabalenka, but we think Coco Gauff will upset the odds. She last won the tournament in 2023, and although she struggled at Wimbledon this year, she had an impressive win at Roland Garros and will have the support of the crowd.
