The 2025 Finals will take place this November, with the event getting underway in Turin, Italy, on November 9 and finishing up with the final on November 16.
The top eight singles players on the ATP tour based on this season’s ranking points will qualify for the indoor hard courts tournament, meaning only the best of the best will battle it out for the $5.07 million prize money for the winner.
As it stands, as of October 22, only Alcaraz, Sinner, and Djokovic have confirmed their qualification for the upcoming edition of the ATP Finals, with five other spaces up for grabs.

While only three players have achieved qualification so far, the top eight is already taking shape, with the following players the most likely to win the ATP Race to Turin.
Carloz Alcaraz
This young Spaniard has had a year to remember. He won two of the four Grand Slam tournaments on offer, including the French Open and US Open. Expect a strong showing once again.
Jannik Sinner
The other half of the emerging dynamic duo of tennis, Sinner is Italy’s shining star. He appeared in the finals of all of this year’s Grand Slams, winning at Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
Novak Djokovic
There is no more decorated active tennis player than Djokovic. The Serb achieved his 100th Tour-level title this year, placing him just behind Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer. He has also equalled the latter’s record of qualifying for the Finals 18 times.
Alexander Zverev
The German narrowly missed on his first Grand Slam when he fell to Sinner in the Australian Open final this year, having been beaten to the French Open by Alcaraz in 2024. A third Finals win would certainly round the year off on a more positive note.
Taylor Fritz
Fritz has yet to claim a Grand Slam or a Finals victory, and at 27, he will feel it’s his time to do so. The towering American is coming off a season in which he didn’t even make the final of an ATP Masters 1000 event, so he will be seen as an underdog.
Ben Shelton
Another player from the USA, Ben Shelton, is only 23 and has had a solid 2025. He qualified for the Finals for the first time in his career off the back of strong showings in the Slams and Masters 1000 events. He made the semis of the Aussie Open and won the Canadian Open.
Alex di Minaur
Australia’s di Minaur may have only reached the quarters of any major competition this year, but finds himself on the verge of a second consecutive Finals qualification.
Lorenzo Mussetti
He may not be quite as prolific as his compatriot Jannik Sinner, but Mussetti is on track for his first Finals qualification.
Qualification can always turn up some unexpected results, and players like Daniil Medvedev and Casper Ruud still may sneak in to qualify, but the previous eight are in pole position right now.
